Personality Mnemosyne enjoys her line of work out of spite: she doesn't fear the unknown, she's angry at it. She's been known to analyze samples until her eyes cross and her bones hurt, all in the name of getting a clear answer. She is a meticulous perfectionist and is completely unwilling to leave anything unfinished. In her field, a shoddy job could mean the difference between life and death. Her eye is keen and her intuition is spot-on, too. Mnemosyne catches details others miss, and seems able to just know when a specimen needs a second look. She isn't terribly tactful, but her colleagues can grudgingly agree that she's one of the best lab techs there is.

Unlike her brother, she doesn't use magic for lab analysis. Mnemosyne thinks using magic is cheating and is very vocal about it, especially to her sibling. No thanks to said sibling, Mnemosyne's had quite enough of magic gone awry. Although she can spellcast, she doesn't trust magic enough to ever attempt to use it inside or outside the lab.
History Mnemosyne was originally uninterested in her brother's field. She used to let her brother practice his magical testing method on her blood, but an incident caused a sample to be diffused across the Nexus. Later, Mnemosyne found herself unexpectedly surrounded by dragons and creatures bearing her unique colouration and markings. It seems that some bits of that blood sample found its way to genetics labs... and Mnemosyne's Clone Army was born.

Things quieted down a bit once her lookalikes grew enough to leave the nest, and Mnemosyne took the opportunity to study up. She was going to learn lab analysis the traditional way; as she often says, "no magic, no mayhem." She's forgiven her brother for the blood-sample incident, but she'll be six feet underground before she lets him live it down.
