Starfall Dragonry

Home of the species known as Asana Dragons. Starfall Dragonry is inaccessible by typical means. It cannot simply be journeyed to on foot or by simple interplanetary travel. Part of the vast system known as the Nexus, it recently appeared in a secluded corner of the universe, accessible only by a portal system which keeps the dragonry safe from potential otherwordly dangers. It is situated among mountains, in a secluded valley surrounded by sheer cliffs. The valley is filled with trees, both coniferous and deciduous, which give the entire place the scent of fresh forest air. In the middle of the valley lies a clear freshwater lake, fed by mountain springs and surrounded by rocky beaches. Among the trees and in a network of tunnels and caverns in the cliffs are the residence areas, which have access both to running water and modern electrical systems. The hatching dens of the Asana dragons are located among this network, deep within the mountain, ensuring the utmost safety of the hatchlings. The climate of the Starfall Dragonry area is seasonal. Summers bring warm weather and long, sunny days, while the winters are cold and bring snow to the valley. In all seasons, a strange phenomenon occurs at night: when the skies are clear, the millions of stars visible in the darkness appear in a multitude of rainbow colours. Strangely, the dragonry's location is mysterious - as it is accessible from other worlds only via a portal system, it is unclear exactly what planet it is situated upon, or if it is on a planet at all. Starfall is watched over by an enigmatic figure known only to the residents as Ariana. She and her rainbow dragon Selwyn are the masters of the sanctuary, responsible for its overall security and well-being. Both are masters of Thought, the seventh type of Asana dragon magic, and both are very committed to the residents of the dragonry. The pair will often be seen watching over the dragonry from a high cliff, wandering among the residents, or speaking with the residents themselves. They are ever-smiling guardians who are always ready to welcome a new visitor to Starfall.
