B'pol presents a jaded, cynical personality and claims to not care what anyone thinks of him. This is largely a mask; he's actually quite sensitive and sort of self-conscious, but he despises the idea of appearing weak, so tries his best to hide it. (A lot of this aspect of his personality is due to his name's unfortunate resemblance to a popular teasing nickname, which he was branded with when he was young.) He tries to be helpful, but he's kind of clumsy and, though quite intelligent, doesn't always explain things in a way other people can understand. |
