| Personality | Sem has a green thumb that borders on the supernatural. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to Icarian flora and is an indispensable asset to local farmers. While brilliant, she isn't exactly tactful; Sem will gladly tell you why your plants are dying while simultaneously berating you for not seeing what's so obvious to her! If she's honest, she just doesn't get people the way she understands plants. Although farmers and gardeners appreciate her for her vast knowledge, most of them think she's too unapproachable - or bizarre - to pursue a friendship with. (Her newly-acquired faerie draks, the aptly named Bramble and Burr, don't help. They are both very attached to Sem, and don't much appreciate the intrusion of strangers!) Upon being Judged, Sem's first reaction was frustration; she has work to do to make sure the farmers don't bungle their planting! Over time, though, she's warmed to the idea - if only because a Drak would allow her to cover far more ground than she could on foot. She's also admittedly excited to blast any foes who dare approach a well-kept field or garden. The Castles and people of Icarus would be doomed without plants to sustain them! |
