| Personality | Gretchan is not all that outgoing; she tends to be rebellious and defiant of authority, and she dislikes taking orders from others, particularly men. She's not a serious misandrist, but she tends to distrust men and resents the largely male-dominated society of Pern. She is close with Bahdri, whom she met during their candidacy and bonded with due to a fight that broke out between the two in the barracks. The pair can often be found sparring. |
