Species Info	Possessing no true identification of their own but borrowing such terms as "scarecrow", "bubak", or "boogeyman", these creatures are not a species so much as manifestations of dark energy that sustain themselves on the fear of others. They are nocturnal predators, never seen in full light, and are not averse to forming small groups of 2 to 4 with like-minded entities. (Information by Phe)

Abilities	Consume Fear: This entity quite literally feeds on the fear of other creatures. They will become considerably weak after a few days without striking fear into some hearts.
Personality	Those foolish enough to trespass on Hattie's farm with intent to take more than they need will, without fail, have a brush with the entity that the Reaper refers to as "Bugbear." It isn't a cute moniker for a handcrafted scarecrow, though; Bugbear is very real and very terrifying, and he always appears wherever trespassers sneak in. Local legend holds that some such unfortunate souls have disappeared... and the legend alone is enough to keep the fear flowing and Bugbear well satiated. It's unknown why Bugbear guards the farm and its bounty from would-be thieves and gluttons. Hattie herself is unafraid of - and even speaks affectionately when referring to - her "scarecrow." Perhaps the two have an agreement or contract, or perhaps the dark entity just really likes fruit and vegetables in some capacity. Whatever the reason, Bugbear is here to stay, and woe be on those who would disregard the farm's "no trespassing" signs.
