:: Personality :: Pyrite has never been afraid to express her emotions out loud, especially if those emotions contain anger. She's known to have a bit of a temper and tends not to think before she speaks when in a heated discussion, but otherwise she is generally a quiet girl who isn't much for social events like parties. When she does think about what she's saying, Pyrite can be a very sensible person, and is quotable to boot when she least expects it. She does tend to carry grudges, however, and once she decides she doesn't like you, watch out. If she realizes a mistake that she's made which she is truly sorry for, Pyrite will apologize when she sees fit. She doesn't let anyone tell her what to do, with the exception of some dragons, whom she greatly respects.
:: History :: Pyrite is a girl with a devastating story. Born with a unique respiratory disease that was supposed to have killed her by the time she was fifteen years old, her parents decided that they would have Pyrite cloned in order to replace their "imperfect" daughter once she had died of the disease. Pyrite did not die in hospital as she was meant to. In fact, she survived to see the face of her clone, and developed an extreme hatred for her parents (especially her mother) in finding out the truth. Unable to bear the hurt of being rejected by her own parents, she fled with Lapis Lazuli (her clone). The pair became Candidates at Star City not long afterward, due to an unexpected visit from a dragon.
